Engineering Polymer: Inovit bought the North Waikato licence to use and sell Plaztuff™ polymer which is a strong, high density polyethylene suitable for use in a wide range of applications through a wide range of industries from the transport industry where the reduction of tare weight offers huge savings to structures for carrying, containing and storing liquids, to the marine industry for barges, boats, pontoons and all manner of marine applications. Other products include but is not limited to pools, non slip walkways, skip bins, hook bins etc.

For us the most significant product as far as effectiveness is concerned would be Plaztuff™ Hyslip polymer deck liner that protects truck decks, aggregate bins, loader buckets or hoppers.

  • It decreases your tipping angle when tipping powdery material or material that binds
  • Wear indicator lets you know when it’s time to replace
  • Fully weldable liners allow us to replace the extra high wear areas without having to replace the entire liner

Plaztuff™has been designed as a replacement or to complement steel, stainless steel, aluminium and fibreglass in a wide range of industries. This material is 1/8 the weight of mild steel, will not rot, rust, corrode get osmosis or electrolysis and can be specified with 30 years UV life. It is self-lubricating, offers excellent impact resistant, long wearing, has moderate abrasion resistant and is corrosion resistant. Plaztuff™ is also non-toxic and non-staining and meets FDA and USDA certification acceptance for food and pharmaceutical equipment. It is fully recyclable.

We stock and supply high density polyethylene sheet, plastic welding guns and plastic welding wire.

When it comes to manufacturing products out of Plaztuff™, Inovit will have a quicker lead time than competitors with the elimination of the corrosion prevention process needed for all steel products and even some stainless steel products. This process can take up to 3 weeks and is out of the control of most engineering companies as it is mostly done outside of the company.
